Aveanna Healthcare is a leading national provider of home health services to medically fragile children and adults. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurse (LVN) to join our team and provide high-quality care to our patients.
Job SummaryThe Private Duty Nurse (LVN) will be responsible for providing one-on-one care to our patients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities, and administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities- Implement and manage individualized care plans for patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the supervisor or physician
- Document all patient interactions and care provided in a timely and accurate manner
- Current, unrestricted LVN license in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification
- One year of experience as a LVN in a clinical care setting
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
