K2 Integrity Holdings, Inc. is in search of a Financial Accounting Supervisor who will report directly to the Global Controller. This role is pivotal in managing various functions within corporate accounting for the firm's US operations.

The successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter with a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and experience in general ledger management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review monthly bank reconciliations and conduct account analyses during the month-end closing process.
  • Assist the Global Controller in overseeing the accounts payable team, ensuring accuracy in voucher entries and payment runs, and managing vendor onboarding.
  • Prepare and review monthly journal entries to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain schedules for fixed assets and prepaid expenses, including calculating monthly depreciation and amortization and reviewing related journal entries.
  • Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly sales tax returns, excise tax, and commercial rent tax.
  • Handle certain treasury functions, including reviewing daily cash balances.
  • Prepare monthly reports for international accountants to ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Assist in the annual financial statement audit process.
  • Prepare workpapers for external tax teams.
  • Compile quarterly unaudited financial statements.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses and generate reports as requested.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting with a minimum GPA of 3.4 in both major and overall.
  • A minimum of five years of accounting experience within a professional services environment.
  • Familiarity with the Elite 3E accounting system is preferred.
  • CPA certification is preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
