Position Overview:
Tatum by Randstad is on the lookout for a Lead Financial Accountant to operate within a dynamic environment.

The Lead Financial Accountant will oversee a comprehensive range of accounting functions, including general ledger management, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closing processes, ensuring adherence to GAAP standards throughout.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee daily accounting operations
2. Address and rectify accounting discrepancies
3. Record financial transactions by inputting account details
4. Compile current financial status by gathering data, preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and various reports.
5. Resolve financial discrepancies through detailed analysis of account information.
6. Safeguard financial data by performing regular database backups
7. Validate, allocate, post, and reconcile financial transactions
8. Generate financial statements and prepare budgets in accordance with established timelines
9. Prepare for and manage both internal and external audits to ensure compliance
10. Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree required

• At least 5 years of comprehensive GAAP accounting experience, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing, General Ledger management, Journal Entries, Financial Statements, Financial Reporting, Budgeting, Forecasting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Reconciliations.

• Proficiency with ERP Systems and advanced Excel skills
• Experience in Manufacturing, Construction, Real Estate, Financial Services, or Public Accounting
• Strong grasp of GAAP and relevant regulations
• CPA certification preferred but not mandatory
• Consistent employment history

Work Environment:
This is a permanent position with standard working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM.
