The role also encompasses managing homeowner budgets and various accounting tasks related to homeowner bank accounts.

The ideal candidate should be assertive, capable of making informed decisions amidst uncertainty, and proficient in communicating with key stakeholders to clarify processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enhance operational systems, processes, and policies to support the organization's mission, particularly in improving management reporting, information flow, and organizational planning.
  • Conduct daily reconciliations of client bank accounts.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of all payable and receivable transactions.
  • Oversee monthly eStatements and manage secure document processes.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports punctually.
  • Guarantee timely generation of billing and processing of statements.
  • Ensure accurate processing of collections.
  • Efficiently handle monthly financial reports for clients, ensuring proper entry into all required systems.
  • Review and monitor all accounting functions and processes.
  • Actively engage in meetings, training, and initiatives aimed at process improvement to support the organization's growth objectives.
  • Supervise and manage necessary adjustments within the department, including monitoring the time and attendance of accounting staff.
  • Adhere to all established policies and procedures to maintain a robust 'checks and balances' system.
Qualifications and Skills
Required Qualifications:
  • A minimum of five years of accounting experience is essential, with a preference for candidates holding an accounting degree.
  • Strong attention to detail is crucial.
  • Ability to function as a working manager.
  • Proven capability to oversee the work of others.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of individuals.
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable making decisions under ambiguity.
Experience and Education:

An associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred, along with five or more years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work Environment:

This position entails a standard 40-hour work week from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. Candidates must be comfortable sitting for extended periods throughout the workday.
