Position: Accounting Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Operations Manager to become a vital part of our Corporate team.

In this role, you will oversee all aspects of the general accounting operations, either directly or through subordinate managers. Your responsibilities will include managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of various accounting systems, including journal entries, general ledger, cash management, accounts payable, and accruals, all in compliance with US GAAP and relevant policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily functions of the corporate accounting department.
  • Assist in managing the shared services group to ensure operational excellence.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of corporate accounting ledgers and sub-ledgers.
  • Direct general accounting activities, including prepaids, accruals, and corporate allocations.
  • Contribute to the establishment of goals, policies, and procedures related to accounting and financial management.
  • Review monthly reconciliations and workbooks prepared by senior and staff accountants.
  • Coordinate the preparation of materials for external audits.
  • Develop and implement system controls and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Maintain a focus on continuous improvement and optimization of business processes.
  • Manage submissions to regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Coordinate management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Work effectively with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Master's degree is preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CA, CGA, or CMA are desirable.
  • 7-10 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • 4-6 years of experience in a managerial role.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in MS Office.
  • Familiarity with OneStream financial reporting tools.
  • Experience with ERP systems, particularly Infor Syteline, is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Sales & Use Tax regulations is a plus.
  • Experience with DCAA accounting and audits is preferred.
