Job Overview:

The Cash and Medical Assistance (CMA) Supervisor plays a pivotal role in enhancing the delivery of financial and health assistance services for refugees, asylees, and Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) clients, aimed at fostering self-sufficiency.

This position is responsible for ensuring that program objectives are achieved while maintaining quality control for service delivery and adherence to contractual obligations.

The CMA Supervisor leads a dedicated team and reports directly to the Economic Empowerment Manager.


Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

Provide guidance, development support, and oversight to direct service personnel by facilitating team meetings, offering individual supervision, coaching, and goal-setting. Manage workloads and prioritize tasks while assisting staff in overcoming challenges.

Ensure compliance with all agency policies, procedures, and protocols.


Client Services Management:

Actively engage in the implementation and oversight of CMA programs to guarantee that all program requirements and standards of care are fulfilled.

Monitor enrolled clients using ETO, Integra, and ClientTrack systems to ensure timely service provision and accurate documentation.

Maintain open communication with CMA staff regarding complex cases and execute timely, professional interventions to ensure effective service delivery.

Identify opportunities to promote gender equality, focusing on enhancing employment access for female participants. Build and nurture long-term relationships with local employers to facilitate suitable job opportunities for clients.

Utilize a personal vehicle for transportation related to job responsibilities.


Compliance and Documentation:

Ensure that all programs meet funder and agency documentation requirements, including case files, data tracking, and other administrative compliance areas.

Coordinate quality assurance initiatives by conducting regular case file and electronic data reviews in collaboration with the supervisor and CMA staff.

Monitor progress towards program performance goals and motivate the employment team to achieve these objectives.

This includes overseeing program implementation, monitoring, and evaluation for all grants within the portfolio.

Generate high-quality program reports promptly, including overseeing staff in completing various reports for headquarters and funders.

Assist in grant writing efforts as opportunities arise.


Team and Office Engagement:

Participate in all program meetings, staff development activities, and other assigned duties.

Collaborate as part of a team to deliver comprehensive strength-based services to clients through effective case coordination and communication among team members and departments.

Adhere to all agency policies, procedures, and protocols.


Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field.

A minimum of two to three years of experience in securing employment opportunities for clients, preferably in domestic refugee resettlement or related social service delivery fields.

Experience in supervising, supporting, and training staff is strongly preferred, along with a background in a nonprofit or human services environment.

Demonstrated organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver measurable results under pressure and tight deadlines.


Program and Staff Management Skills:

Experience in developing, leading, implementing, and monitoring projects or programs in nonprofit or community-based organizations.

Strong coaching abilities and initiative are essential.

Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills, particularly in a multicultural context. Must be mission-driven, confident, and committed to client success.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong typing skills are required.

Familiarity with ETO databases is highly preferred.

Exceptional communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English.


Working Environment:

This role involves a combination of standard office settings, remote work, and field activities within the service delivery area to fulfill the outlined responsibilities.

Occasional weekend and/or evening work may be required.
