About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at a well-known hospital in Abilene, TX.

Job Summary

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging and emergency procedures, responding to patient needs, and maintaining quality control programs for instrumentation.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic Nuclear Medicine imaging and emergency procedures
  • Respond to patient's needs before, during and after their visit to the nuclear medicine department
  • Evaluate and maintain quality control programs for instrumentation
  • Assist authorized users in the application and management of therapeutic radionuclide treatment
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and staff/student orientation and training

Requirements
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist License
  • Graduate from Accredited Nuclear Medicine Program
  • 2+ year exp in Nuclear Med required
  • BLS certification through AMA (American Heart Association)
  • Texas Med Board - MRT
Compensation

$28/Hr - $35/hr (Per Experience)

Signing Bonus

$6k - 36 months of commitment - payout schedule: $1,000 upon hire, $1,000 at 12 months, $2,000 at 24 months, $2,000 at 36 months
