Job Overview:

The Cash and Medical Assistance (CMA) Supervisor plays a crucial role in enhancing the delivery of Cash and Medical Assistance services to refugees, asylees, and Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) clients, aiming for their self-sufficiency.

This position is responsible for ensuring that program objectives are achieved while managing quality assurance for service delivery and adherence to contractual obligations.

The CMA Supervisor leads a dedicated team and reports directly to the Economic Empowerment Manager.


Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:

Provide guidance, developmental support, and oversight to direct service personnel through team meetings, individual coaching, and goal-setting. Manage workload distribution and assist staff in overcoming challenges.

Ensure compliance with all agency policies, procedures, and protocols.


Client Engagement:

Actively oversee the implementation and management of CMA programs, ensuring all requirements and standards of care are met.

Utilize tracking systems to monitor enrolled clients, ensuring timely service delivery and proper documentation.

Maintain open communication with CMA staff regarding complex cases and implement timely interventions to ensure effective service provision.

Identify opportunities to promote gender equality, focusing on enhancing employment access for female participants. Build and maintain long-term relationships with local employers to facilitate job opportunities for clients.

Utilize personal transportation for both self and clients as necessary for job-related responsibilities.


Compliance and Documentation:

Ensure all programs meet funder and agency documentation requirements, including case files and data tracking.

Coordinate quality assurance efforts through periodic reviews of case files and electronic data in collaboration with the supervisor and CMA staff.

Monitor progress towards program performance goals and motivate the employment team to achieve these objectives.

Produce timely, high-quality program reports, including overseeing staff completion of various reports for headquarters and funders.

Assist in grant writing activities as opportunities arise.


Team Participation:

Engage in all program meetings, staff development activities, and other assigned duties.

Collaborate with team members to provide comprehensive, strength-based services to clients through effective case coordination and communication.

Adhere to all agency policies, procedures, and protocols.


Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field.

Two to three years of experience in securing employment opportunities for clients, particularly in domestic refugee resettlement or related social service fields, is essential.

Experience in supervising, supporting, and training staff is highly preferred, along with familiarity in a nonprofit or human services environment.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver measurable results under pressure in a fast-paced setting.


Skills:

Strong program and staff management capabilities, with experience in developing, leading, and monitoring projects in nonprofit or community-based organizations.

Excellent coaching skills and initiative.

Proficient negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills, particularly in multicultural settings. Must be driven by mission and outcomes, with a commitment to client success.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with ETO databases is strongly preferred.

Valid driver's license, access to a personal vehicle with current insurance, and the ability to travel regularly are required.


Work Environment:

This role involves a combination of standard office work, remote tasks, and fieldwork within the service delivery area.

Occasional weekend and evening work may be required.
