- Proficient in IT Service Management (ITSM) and ITIL frameworks.
- Experience in leadership roles with a focus on managing direct reports.
Core Responsibilities:
Leadership and Development:- Guide, inspire, and develop a team of NOC engineers and analysts.
- Promote a cooperative and positive workplace culture that nurtures creativity and ongoing enhancement.
- Conduct regular evaluations of team performance, providing constructive feedback and mentorship.
- Supervise the continuous operation of the NOC, ensuring prompt and effective incident resolution.
- Work closely with other IT departments to guarantee smooth communication and collaboration during incident management.
- Regularly assess and refine NOC workflows and protocols for incident detection, resolution, and escalation.
- Adopt best practices and industry benchmarks to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of NOC operations.
- Oversee the comprehensive incident management lifecycle, from initial identification to resolution and subsequent analysis.
- Coordinate with various IT teams and external partners to ensure swift incident resolution.
- Effectively distribute resources in accordance with workload demands and priorities.
- Identify skill gaps and facilitate professional growth opportunities for team members.
- Ensure that all procedures and incident response strategies are accurately documented and kept current.
- Regularly review and revise documentation to reflect environmental changes.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the NOC, providing insights into performance and identifying improvement areas.
- Create reports and dashboards to offer visibility into network performance and health.
