Job Title: Director of Legal Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Legal Operations to join our team at Epiq Counsel. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our legal operations strategy, ensuring seamless integration with our clients' business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive legal operations strategy, aligning with corporate goals and objectives.
  • Create a framework for legal project management and workflow automation, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement efficient and effective legal operations procedures, supporting the legal department and broader organization.
  • Continuously assess and improve legal processes, increasing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Define and document processes, policies, and procedures to streamline legal operations.
  • Develop and oversee compliance programs and policies.
Requirements:
  • At least 8+ years of experience in legal operations, with a proven track record of establishing and managing a legal operations function.
  • Substantive experience developing and implementing a comprehensive legal operations strategy.
  • Excellent project management and process improvement skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team.
  • Willingness to support a hybrid role requiring three days onsite in Phoenix-based office.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., JD, MBA) preferred.
  • PMP, CAPM, or other relevant project management certification(s) a plus.
