Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical/Electrical Technician - Field Support Specialist to join our team at ITW Hartness. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our customers in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and assistance to customers in the field, including troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical symbols, and electrical schematics to diagnose and repair equipment.
  • Use basic hand tools and electrical tooling, such as strippers, crimpers, and terminal torque wrenches, to perform repairs and maintenance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, using critical thinking skills to identify and execute priority tasks.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support during field visits, ensuring maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Travel up to 20-50% of the time, with a valid driver's license, to support customers in the field.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with an Associate's Degree in a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of mechanical and electrical experience, with a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds, bend, twist, stand, and walk for extended periods, with the ability to climb above floor level.
