Job Summary

The Patient Care Coordinator position at Mass Lung & Allergy PC is a dynamic role that requires a high level of organization, communication, and problem-solving skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support, ensuring a seamless experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front Office Operations: Manage patient flow, check-in patients, and obtain necessary information and signatures.
  • Phone and Messaging: Answer multi-line phones, direct calls, and respond to patient inquiries.
  • Scheduling and Follow-up: Schedule appointments, check out patients, and follow up on outstanding issues.
  • Insurance and Referrals: Process insurance claims, verify patient information, and obtain referrals as needed.
  • Administrative Tasks: Enter faxes, process payments, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a medical office setting, preferably with electronic medical records and insurance experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, ability to multitask, and proficiency in computer software.
