Position Overview

This is a hybrid role requiring three weeks of onsite work each month (Monday to Thursday). At Lands' End, we prioritize our people, fostering an inclusive and welcoming culture for all. As a Digital Merchandising Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in crafting an exceptional online shopping journey for millions of customers daily. By merging creativity with analytical insights, you will help narrate product stories effectively online. Your responsibilities will include executing site strategies and implementing key product initiatives through engaging digital content. A successful candidate will be an advocate for the Lands' End customer, regardless of their engagement preferences with our brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize the product catalog to enhance customer interaction, boost conversion rates, and improve search relevance across all devices.
  • Develop and nurture collaborative relationships with teams in Merchandising, Creative, IT, and Marketing.
  • Strategize and plan seasonal initiatives, promotional activities, site improvements, and product rollouts.
  • Analyze performance metrics of key product categories and assess merchandising strategies.
  • Act as a resource for the digital enhancement roadmap and ensure process consistency.
  • Identify and maintain the optimal digital customer journey for purchasing Lands' End products.
  • Ensure accuracy and currency of all digital touchpoints.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure the customer journey (browsing and searching) is optimized for product discoverability, cross-merchandising, conversion, and sales. This may require occasional evening or weekend hours.
  • Maintain data integrity for assigned business categories and seek process efficiencies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to activate selling strategies that maximize site sales potential, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and enhance search performance for specific business categories.
  • Lead initiatives to improve efficiencies in the digital merchandising workflow.
  • Perform quality assurance and user acceptance testing for site updates and IT projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong decision-making abilities, analytical skills, and creative problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Self-motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team on various projects.
  • Experience in retail or e-commerce, particularly in product and customer interactions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with all organizational levels.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Familiarity with Adobe Analytics, Endeca Experience Manager, HTML, and database structures is advantageous but not mandatory.
