Position Summary
We are currently looking for a meticulous and proficient Manufacturing Specialist to become a vital part of our production team. In this role, you will be instrumental in facilitating the smooth and timely assembly of our innovative motion capture systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assembly and evaluation of OptiTrack motion capture systems in accordance with predefined standards and protocols.
- Diagnose and rectify equipment issues as necessary to sustain production efficiency.
- Work collaboratively with the manufacturing team to achieve production goals and timelines.
- Keep precise documentation of production processes and stock levels.
- Comply with quality assurance standards and engage in quality enhancement initiatives.
- Observe safety regulations and maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
- Support the onboarding of new manufacturing team members and offer continuous assistance and mentorship.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
- Strong mechanical skills and technical knowledge.
- Competence in utilizing hand and power tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to adhere to instructions and specifications.
- Capability to thrive in a dynamic, team-focused environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with productivity applications.
- Physical ability to lift and transport heavy equipment (10 lbs daily and up to 50 lbs weekly).
- Experience with motion capture technology and systems is preferred.
- Background in soldering and electronics assembly is advantageous.
