About the Role

Globus Medical is a leading manufacturer of innovative medical devices, and we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Trauma Specialist to join our team. As a Trauma Specialist, you will be responsible for marketing and promoting our assigned products within the guidelines of the company. You will represent the company in accordance with our quality policy and procedures, and you will be expected to meet and exceed all sales goals and objectives assigned in your territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our products and major competitors in all product areas.
  • Communicate new ideas promptly to product development and provide feedback on topics such as product development opportunities, new target accounts, sales performance, and market feedback.
  • Develop relationships with key trauma surgeon customers and maintain consignments and loaner inventory.
  • Create and implement an annual business plan with quarterly updates and manage travel expenses within budget.
  • Adhere to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role.
Requirements
  • 2+ years medical device sales or surgical related products experience and a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience within an operating room strongly preferred.
  • Ability to travel as necessary, which may include nights and/or weekends.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence; excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of skeletal/orthopedic anatomy.
  • Ability to make sales presentations with positive results.
  • Strong computer skills - MS Office.
  • Manual dexterity is essential.
