Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Member Services Coordinator to join our team at Morehouse College National Alumni Association. The successful candidate will assist with various tasks and projects that support the mission of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with arranging events, such as meetings, seminars, and board meetings.
  • Develop positive relationships with partners, vendors, and others to support the mission and goals of the organization.
  • Maintain an organized filing system of paper and electronic documents.
  • Supervise the coordination and engagement of other student volunteers and/or work-study students.
  • Schedule meetings and appointments and manage itineraries.
  • Coordinate executive communication, including taking calls, responding to emails, and interfacing with alumni.
  • Prepare internal and external documents for Executive Leadership Team and Board members as requested.
  • Develop and sustain a level of professionalism among staff, executive leadership, and students.
  • Uphold a strict level of confidentiality.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 months prior volunteer or work experience.
  • Proficiency following directions and collaborating with others to complete tasks.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and positive attitude.
  • Some exposure working in an office and interacting with adults and leaders.
  • Some experience communicating and presenting information to others.
  • At least 6 months working on team projects.
  • Some level of proficiency or willingness to learn Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Eventbrite, CRM.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills with proven multi-tasking abilities.
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills.
  • Friendly and professional demeanor.
