Hotel Revenue Optimization Assistant

The Revenue Management Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the Revenue Management Department. This position encompasses various administrative tasks alongside the oversight and analysis of revenue systems. Effective collaboration and interpersonal skills are essential to aid each hotel in achieving its revenue objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gathering and updating essential reporting metrics
- Overseeing pricing strategies
- Establishing and maintaining rate structures
- Monitoring and evaluating revenue management system performance
- Managing revenue management tools, including brand software and strategic spreadsheets
- Staying updated with all required brand training and certifications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry is required
- Familiarity with hotel revenue management is advantageous
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to interpret data effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
- Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office, Google Suite, and revenue management software is necessary
Essential Attributes:
The ideal candidate for the Revenue Management Administrative Assistant position is an analytical thinker dedicated to helping the organization meet its revenue management goals. The ability to solve problems while managing various tasks is vital. This role requires support for all revenue management initiatives across the portfolio. A background of 2-3 years in hotel administration, sales, or operations, along with proficiency in Excel and familiarity with systems and processes, is preferred.
