Key Responsibilities:
As a Certified Volkswagen Automotive Technician, you will:
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic vehicle components, including wiring, lighting, sensors, and control modules.
  • Efficiently perform tasks as outlined in repair orders while adhering to dealership standards.
  • Conduct test drives and utilize diagnostic tools to assess vehicle systems.
  • Maintain and repair various automotive systems, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
  • Communicate effectively with Service Advisors to keep customers informed about their vehicle's needs.
  • Provide accurate estimates for additional repair time as necessary.
  • Document all repairs, parts utilized, and services performed meticulously.
  • Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Stay current with advancements in automotive technology through ongoing training and development.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as an ASE or Volkswagen technician.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
  • A proactive attitude and a collaborative spirit.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and a willingness to learn.
  • A clean driving record and a valid driver's license.
