Job Title: Volkswagen Certified Service Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Volkswagen Certified Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical and electronic components in vehicles, including wiring, lighting, sensors, and control modules.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic components in vehicles, including wiring, lighting, sensors, and control modules.
  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
  • Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.
  • Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs.
  • Ensure all work is completed to high-quality standards and follows manufacturer's warranty specifications.
  • Maintain detailed records of all repairs, parts used, and services performed.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Stay up to date with the latest automotive technology and industry trends through training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a ASE or Volkswagen technician.
  • Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
  • Fast, eager learner and team player.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Computer skills and willingness to learn new problems.
  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • Clean driving record & valid driver's license.
