Job Overview

Oxford Solutions is seeking a dedicated Retail Customer Support Specialist to join our client in the retail merchandising sector.

This position is fully remote, requiring a reliable high-speed internet connection.

Work Schedule: 1 pm - 10 pm, with a commitment to work one weekend day each week. Training sessions will be conducted Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.

In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring customer satisfaction by collaborating with both internal teams and external partners, including retail outlets and logistics providers, to effectively address and resolve issues. Communication will primarily occur via phone, email, and chat platforms. You will be tasked with managing significant concerns, troubleshooting technical challenges, and meticulously documenting all interactions.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by liaising with retail partners and shipping companies to resolve various issues.
  • Utilize effective communication skills through phone, email, and chat to assist customers and partners.
  • Take initiative in addressing complex issues that arise, including technical troubleshooting and reporting sensitive matters.
  • Ensure all relevant information is accurately logged and documented during and after customer interactions.
  • Share insights and best practices with colleagues to enhance overall service quality.
  • Efficiently manage and resolve tasks in the queue, ensuring timely responses to customer inquiries.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in customer service, ideally within a retail or e-commerce setting.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues via phone or online channels.
  • Familiarity with customer service software, email, and chat tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to ownership of issues.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple responsibilities.
