Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Engineer to join our team in the development and certification of next-generation encryption devices. The successful candidate will design, document, and implement high-speed or ultra-low power digital circuit boards for Layer 3 In-line Network Encryptors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop next-generation encryption devices, including digital circuit boards and high-speed or ultra-low power components
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and testing of encryption devices
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and certification reports
  • Work closely with production teams to ensure efficient manufacturing and quality control processes
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • 8+ years of experience in hardware design or sustaining experience
  • Foundational knowledge of analog and digital logic, timing considerations, and circuit board design
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • US citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance
  • Ability to travel up to 10% for business purposes
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to work with diverse teams
  • Experience with MS Office products, including documentation creation and modification
  • Familiarity with standard test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and power supplies
  • Knowledge of production-related processes and common failure modes
  • High aptitude for learning new technologies and concepts
