Position Overview:
The Grant Management Specialist plays a crucial role in providing administrative support and technical assistance to grant staff and associated employers. This position ensures the seamless operation of grant activities and compliance with deliverable requirements. Responsibilities include managing the reimbursement process, compiling and maintaining grant data, and assisting in the preparation of grant reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer administrative support to grant personnel and stakeholders to facilitate efficient operations.
  • Ensure compliance with grant deliverable requirements and manage the reimbursement process.
  • Compile, enter, and maintain various grant-related data, tracking progress and generating reports as needed.
  • Assist in the preparation of comprehensive grant reports.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Proficient knowledge of standard office practices, procedures, and basic accounting principles.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, along with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to manage financial information effectively and meet compliance guidelines.
  • Experience in database management, report generation, and data analysis related to grants.

Additional Considerations:
  • Education or experience in business accounting or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in coordinating multiple components of service-oriented transactions.
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations regarding grants and agency requirements.
