Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Structural Engineer to join our team at RightWorks Staffing. This role involves a variety of responsibilities that are crucial to the successful planning and execution of structural projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed construction plans for structural and bridge projects for public agencies.
  • Work under the guidance of a senior engineer on various owned structures.
  • Conduct engineering calculations to assist in the creation of comprehensive plans and documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to established quality control and assurance standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members throughout the design process.
  • Occasionally visit bridge sites to gather necessary data.
  • Perform Load Ratings on bridges and other structures owned by public entities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one is preferred; Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is a plus.
  • Three to five years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
  • Familiarity with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD software.
  • Proficient in using MIDAS Civil, AASHTOWare Brr, and/or Csi Bridge software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
