Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Structural Engineer to join our team at Leidos. As a Junior Substation Civil Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing high-voltage utility civil substation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop civil/structural design components for substation projects
  • Perform design calculations and develop construction-grade engineering design drawings
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project scope, schedule, and budget expectations are met
  • Conduct site visits to client substation facilities and participate in client meetings and industry-related events
  • Ensure compliance with quality control and safe work practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil-Structural Engineering
  • EIT certification preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Mathcad software
  • Proficiency in STAAD.Pro, FAD, SAFE, SAG10, and LPile software
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microstation, and Civil 3D software
  • Strong analytical and technical writing skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
