The Perillo Group is looking for a skilled Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess at least 3 years of experience in both commercial and residential structural design, analysis, and detailing. This role demands the ability to manage various projects simultaneously, exceptional client interaction skills, strong technical proficiency, and a readiness to travel as needed.
Key Responsibilities:- Work collaboratively with Senior Engineers and the Department Manager to complete assigned design tasks efficiently.
- Oversee drafters to ensure proper delegation of drafting duties.
- Conduct structural design calculations and offer informed recommendations.
- Develop comprehensive specifications and drawings for proposed engineering solutions.
- Engage with clients directly to ensure project requirements are met through accurate drawings.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
- A Master's degree in Structural Engineering is highly desirable.
- Possession of a Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification is advantageous.
- Experience in practical construction is beneficial.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must.
- Experience with wood design or construction practices is necessary.
- Prior experience in developing designs and drawings for structures is preferred.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work autonomously are essential.
