We are seeking a dedicated Sales Development Representative to enhance our dynamic Sales Development team.

Role Summary:

The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for generating qualified leads for the Field Territory Managers through proactive outreach efforts. This role serves as the primary contact for building relationships through various channels including incoming calls, web inquiries, tradeshow interactions, Live Chat, and more. The focus will be on establishing long-term relationships through a multi-touch approach, meticulously documenting interactions in our CRM system, and setting reminders for follow-ups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with prospects during the initial stages of their purchasing journey to enhance the quality and volume of qualified leads for the sales team, ultimately leading to stronger pipelines and increased revenue.
  • Foster relationships with prospects, building trust and rapport that translates into opportunities.
  • Provide valuable resources (such as webinar invitations, white papers, and relevant articles) to prospects, while assessing their position in the buying process.
  • Identify potential opportunities that meet the minimum qualification criteria for the sales team.
  • Collect essential information to update the CRM system and establish a follow-up strategy.
  • Document all activities, including scheduled follow-up tasks, within the CRM.
  • Generate qualified leads consistently.
  • Facilitate connections between sales representatives and prospects at optimal times.
Qualifications:
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and interpersonal.
  • Highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks, and comfortable engaging with senior executives and technical decision-makers.
  • Proven ability to cultivate strong business relationships in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to source new leads through innovative outbound strategies.
  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals.
  • Develop weekly plans to ensure success in the sales territory.

  • Provide consistent feedback to Marketing and Sales teams.
  • Maintain accurate records and updates in the CRM system.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years in outbound sales.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Willingness to accept guidance and coaching to refine best practices.
  • Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems is advantageous.
  • Proficient in utilizing social media for business purposes.
