About the Organization:

Our client, a reputable nonprofit organization focused on public policy, is in search of a Development Coordinator to enhance their growing development initiatives. This position plays a vital role in the organization’s fundraising and donor engagement strategies.

Role Responsibilities:

The Development Coordinator will deliver critical assistance to the development team, concentrating on data management, donor analysis, and the organization of essential activities. This position demands exceptional organizational abilities and the capacity to juggle various tasks in a dynamic setting.

  • Oversee data and information management utilizing Raiser's Edge, Salesforce, and SharePoint.
  • Perform comprehensive donor research and create pertinent reports.
  • Engage in team discussions, offering detailed notes and summaries.
  • Arrange meetings and conference calls for the development team.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and compile expense reports.
  • Support the planning and execution of events and special initiatives.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience in fundraising or donor relations.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, Raiser's Edge (or similar fundraising software), SharePoint, Salesforce.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Highly organized with a strong sense of professionalism.
  • Educational Background: BA/BS preferred.
