About the Job

The Help Desk IT Technician II is a key role in our organization, responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our users. As a Help Desk IT Technician II, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, and your goal will be to quickly identify and resolve their technical issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide remote and on-site technical support to users
  • Answer incoming Help Desk calls and emails
  • Create tickets and collect basic client information
  • Perform basic Help Desk troubleshooting
  • Reset passwords, add/remove O365 licenses, and fix broken mapped network drives
  • Install updates, add printers, and install client-side software
  • Troubleshoot client-side network connections, setup email on mobile devices, and act as HelpDesk Tier 1 escalation
  • Perform intermediate HD troubleshooting, restore files, and review application issues
  • Identify and address network outages, troubleshoot group policies, and address network connectivity issues
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in Help Desk or IT support position
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Strong networking knowledge, ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
  • Familiar with Windows Server, excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized, ability to multitask and excellent time management skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft O365 email and office
