Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Project Leader to join our team. As an Operations Project Leader, you will be responsible for managing activities related to developing PMO structure, maintenance of Portfolio Prioritization Management Tools (PPM), and helping manage key project activation and resourcing requirements. You will work cross-functionally to successfully execute business-wide, procurement and operational programs through planning, implementing, and overseeing business and business-wide value creation initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead global cross-functional team management while building trusting and transparent relationships
  • Deliver value creation metrics while leveraging project management best practices
  • Have crucial conversations and manage conflict, but escalate issues via governance process when they cannot be locally resolved
  • Align priorities of the business to scope of program and potentially conflicting interests
  • Communicate transparently on program progress, risks, and escalations to all levels in the organization
  • Support best practice creation to align within and outside the organization to mature project and program management
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business or engineering and a minimum of five (5) years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated experience in leading lean/operational excellence initiatives
  • Experience with vendor management, procurement, and supporting BOM optimization
  • High level of emotional intelligence, influencing skills, and communication skills to enable collaboration with a variety of key stakeholders including senior executive stakeholders
  • Strong business and financial acumen, including strong problem-solving skills, data analysis, critical thinking, business analysis, and organizational skills
  • Proven track record in building cross-functional relationships with ability to influence others across different levels within the organization
  • Strong facilitation, analytical, and presentation skills with a proven track record in breaking down complex, ambiguous business problems into structured approaches and actions
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills in your work with senior executives across various geographies
  • Excel in project management, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication
  • Passion for building new capabilities and functions from ground-up
  • Flexible and highly resilient to change and ambiguity
  • Entrepreneurial, self-starter, and results-driven with ability to work independently with limited information
  • Seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions with an unwavering commitment to do what is ethical
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ten (10) years of experience in operations project management
  • MBA
  • PMP, Agile Scrum, LEAN Six Sigma, APICX
  • Experience in manufacturing operations
