Job Summary

The Project Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the successful execution and management of dewatering, bypass pumping, or trenching projects. Reporting to the Operations Manager, Division Leader, or Branch Manager, this individual is responsible for overseeing projects from start to finish, coordinating the procurement and assignment of personnel and equipment, and verifying adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on assigned field projects
  • Drive projects forward, coordinating the necessary resources and personnel to meet project objectives
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety programs and requirements on all projects
  • Understand project expectations and contract requirements, attending progress meetings and critical issue discussions as needed
  • Manage project progress while operational activities are underway, working closely with Crew Leaders to ensure proper execution of project specifications
  • Responsible for daily progress reports, including Driller Reports, Wellpoint Reports, and Pump Water Reports
  • Identify opportunities to upsell customers on additional products and services as needs arise on the project
  • Document and track project progress, changes, and issues, communicating with the Branch leadership team as necessary
  • Participate in estimating projects and developing proposals for customer requirements
  • Assist in the collection process as needed
  • Represent the company at industry functions to promote the company image and recognition
  • Ensure proper documentation and agreements are executed and on file prior to project commencement
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent amount of experience
  • Knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations
  • Leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and/or technical manuals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule to meet project demands
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Requires intermittent periods of physical exertion, including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and carrying materials or equipment
