We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients by performing complex laboratory tests on blood, body fluids, cells, and tissues.
Responsibilities:- Perform a variety of laboratory tests, including blood counts, chemistry tests, and microbiology tests.
- Identify bacteria, parasites, and other microorganisms, and analyze chemical content of fluids.
- Prepare cells for use in cellular therapies, and cross-match blood for transfusion and organ transplantation.
- Work independently and as part of a team to ensure accurate and timely test results.
- Associate's degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited program.
- Medical Lab Technician Certification through ASCP, AMT, ACHI, or an equivalent certification agency.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
