Key Responsibilities:
In addition to creating a joyful atmosphere for our members, your duties as a Shuttle Driver will encompass:
- Ensuring the safe transportation of members during their time in your care
- Assisting members with boarding and disembarking, as well as addressing any special needs during transit
- Maintaining the company vehicle in pristine condition: ensuring it is clean, organized, and in excellent working order, promptly reporting any issues. It is essential that the vehicle transporting our valued members is always in top condition.
Qualifications:
To qualify as a Shuttle Driver for our Adult Day Services, you should meet the following criteria:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 21 years of age
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience with a valid driver's license and state-specific driving credentials
- This role is physically demanding; therefore, you should be able to:
- Prior experience working with seniors and/or individuals with special needs is advantageous
- As this is a driving position regulated by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), you must be able to:
- Pass a required physical examination, including a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
- Achieve satisfactory results from a background check and Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
- Provide clear results from a pre-employment drug test
