Experienced Activities Program Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Activities Director to lead our programs that serve our residents.

About the Role

This position will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Skilled Nursing Facility, Memory Care and Assisted Living's activities, including scheduling, safety, staffing, and compliance with state regulations. The successful candidate will enhance the quality of life for all residents through engaging activities.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience in a social or recreational program within the past five years, with one year being full-time in a patient activities program in a healthcare setting or relevant certifications such as Occupational Therapist, Art Therapist, Music Therapist, Dance Therapist, Recreation Therapist, or Occupational Therapy Assistant. Familiarity with state policies and regulations regarding Healthcare Center operations and activities requirements is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement activity programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of residents
  • Manage staff and volunteers to ensure effective delivery of activities
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Collaborate with other departments to promote a holistic approach to resident care
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a social or recreational program
  • Familiarity with state policies and regulations
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

We offer a competitive salary range of $77,969-$81,000 per year, based on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
