Job Summary:
As a Program Management Coordinator at the US Department of Transportation, you will play a crucial role in supporting the office's administrative functions. Your duties will include general office administration, preparing and managing documents, compiling and tracking information, entering and tracking budget expenditures, purchasing and inventory management, establishing, organizing, and managing files and records, providing computer assistance, scheduling meetings, preparing correspondence, managing time and attendance, and providing explanations of administrative policies.

About the Role:
This is a temporary position with a possibility of extension or conversion to permanent status without further competition. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in maintaining calendars, travel, budget, property, or space management. You will be responsible for arranging meetings and conferences, reviewing correspondence for correct grammar and conformance to policy and style, composing letters/memos, maintaining files and records, analyzing administrative processes, and evaluating, developing, and recommending improvements to resource programs and workflow.

Requirements:
To qualify for this position, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-E or FG/GS-07 in the Federal Service. This includes experience in maintaining calendars, travel, budget, property, or space management; arranging meetings and conferences; reviewing correspondence for correct grammar and conformance to policy and style; composing letters/memos; maintaining files and records; analyzing administrative processes; and evaluating, developing, and recommending improvements to resource programs and workflow.
