About the Role

Oak View Group is seeking a highly skilled Director of Ticketing to join our team at Fair Park in Dallas, TX. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing all ticket inventories, processing orders and payments, and managing the ticketing system for select events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and manage all events in the ticketing system, including seating manifests, price tables, and hold/kills.
  • Oversee all financial reconciliation, including daily reports, monthly reports, and event settlement.
  • Manage all information sent and posted through the ticketing system.
  • Act as systems administrator for the ticketing system and liaison between staff, promoters, presenters, and the facility.
  • Prepare all ticketing reports for and work with tenants on system training and related premium ticketing services.
  • Investigate and resolve ticket-related issues.
  • Manage season ticket renewal mailings, processing of season ticket monies, and printing/mailing of season tickets.
  • Manage all aspects of customer service to internal and external customers, enforcing OVG principles and corporate initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, sports management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of increasingly responsible box office/ticketing experience, preferably in a sports facility, convention center, performing arts facility, or other multi-purpose public assembly facility.
  • Knowledge of operational characteristics, services, activities of stadium, arena, public assembly facility, or convention center sales programs.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Excel, database, presentation, graphic design, PowerPoint, and Internet.
  • Familiarity with Paciolan ticketing software, desirable but not required.
