Join Our Team as a Lead Tax Financial Analyst

Are you prepared to elevate your tax accounting skills? We are in search of an experienced Lead Tax Financial Analyst to significantly contribute to the enhancement of our tax systems and methodologies. In this vital role, you will be tasked with the preparation of tax filings and documentation, ensuring adherence to FASB 109 for Tax Provision, while meticulously maintaining comprehensive tax records. You will also be involved in addressing inquiries from tax authorities, aiding in audit procedures, and performing tax research to keep our practices innovative and compliant.

Your responsibilities will include generating statistical and financial reports, executing strategic tax initiatives, and nurturing a culture of ownership and entrepreneurship within the team. What You Will Need:
  • Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of Tax or Accounting experience demonstrating progressive responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of Gallo Tax or Accounting experience showing increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Proficiency in computer skills including basic MS Word and intermediate MS Excel.
  • Willingness to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events related to development and business needs up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
What Will Set You Apart:
  • MBA or Master's degree in Accounting with 5 years of tax or accounting experience reflecting progressive responsibility OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Accounting concentration) with 8 years of tax or accounting experience showing increasing levels of responsibility.
  • CPA certification.
  • Experience with Big 4 Tax or Accounting firms.
  • Familiarity with CCH Income Tax Software.
  • Experience with OneSource (Tax Stream) Provision Software.
  • Knowledge of SAP General Ledger System.
  • Proficiency in RIA/BNA Online Research Software.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Experience in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Skilled in calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Proficient in applying basic algebra and geometry concepts.
  • Adept at defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions. Capable of interpreting a wide variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and managing several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Competent in performing varied and somewhat challenging work, usually involving limited responsibility, requiring frequent evaluation, originality, and ingenuity.
  • Knowledgeable in the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of this field of specialization.

Compensation:
  • Hiring Salary Range: $81,000 - $121,600 / Year
  • Actual compensation will be determined by factors such as education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and market alignment.
