Job Title: Principal Hardware Design Engineer

At Raytheon, we are seeking a highly skilled Principal Hardware Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Radar Systems Engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex radar systems, including receiver and exciter subsystems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement radar system architectures, including receiver and exciter subsystems.
  • Design and analyze RF chain and link budget analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and test radar systems.
  • Develop and implement digital signal processing algorithms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in radar systems engineering, including design and development of receiver and exciter subsystems.
  • Experience with RF chain design and analysis, digital signal processing, and radar system integration.
  • Strong understanding of radar system architectures and subsystems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
