Position Overview

The Ladders Capital Advisors, LLC is on the lookout for skilled professionals to join our expanding Capital Advisory team. Our advisors are dedicated to providing tailored financial solutions that foster comfort and build trust-based relationships. As an RIA, our offerings encompass wealth management and financial planning.

The Wealth Management Consultant will engage directly with clients, tasked with developing, maintaining, and enhancing relationships with high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals, families, trusts, and family entities. This role will concentrate on acquiring and managing client relationships, which includes ongoing planning, education, coaching, and implementing solutions to achieve clients' objectives. The consultant will nurture client relationships to enhance retention and expand engagement. Additionally, they will identify and cultivate business opportunities through existing clients, referrals, and networking. Collaboration with senior leadership will be essential to effectively execute strategic plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulating and implementing successful business development strategies across all markets to generate significant new assets for the firm.
  • Acting as the primary contact for wealth management clients.
  • Building and managing an effective sales pipeline.
  • Focusing on professional growth, training, obtaining additional certifications, and enhancing sales and marketing skills.
  • Contributing to a positive culture of accountability and integrity.
  • Maintaining meaningful relationships with Centers of Influence (COI) to establish effective sales channels and sustain a robust sales pipeline.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration is preferred.
  • Series 65 certification is required.
  • Texas General Insurance license is preferred.
  • CFP, CFA, CAIA, and/or CPWA designations are preferred.
  • 5-7 years of relevant wealth management experience.
  • Experience with high-net-worth clients is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with alternative investments is preferred.
  • Demonstrated sales success and strong business acumen.
  • Exceptional relationship management skills.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • Exhibits independent thinking and strong decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to build, develop, maintain, and transition a book of business with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent work references and a proven track record of consistently achieving sales goals.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • High emotional intelligence, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
