The Administrator for the Learning Management System (LMS) is responsible for overseeing the administration, training, development, and technical support for EFW's Learning & Development department.
This role involves developing and maintaining the LMS to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and comprehensive course descriptions and histories.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading LMS administration that assigns, delivers, assesses, records, tracks, and reports on eLearning courses and training programs.
  • Managing LMS activities to ensure timely course and curriculum development, assignment, implementation, and evaluation processes.
  • Creating, publishing, and archiving online and instructor-led courses, as well as managing course revisions and histories.
  • Establishing and updating training requirements within the LMS.

Additional duties involve:

  • Creating user logins, assigning user permissions, monitoring user accounts, resetting passwords as necessary, and disabling profiles for all offboarded employees.
  • Developing tracking mechanisms to identify employee training requirements and qualification statuses.
  • Accurately tracking new, deleted, and revised items in the LMS, including course content, procedures, and assessments.
  • Maintaining instructor course materials and providing support related to document control system requirements.

The role also entails collaborating with Subject Matter Experts to document, design, and develop course content, procedures, assessments, and evaluations.
Acting as an internal consultant, the Administrator will analyze data and recommend solutions to leverage the LMS for delivering and tracking training, as well as measuring performance to meet organizational goals.

Responsibilities further include:

  • Managing EFW's EdVantage monthly course calendar and assisting with the registration process.
  • Creating and managing the overall course structure and setting up course programs based on specifications from management or SMEs.
  • Utilizing the company project management system to track all instructional designs.
  • Collaborating with learners and trainers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to accessing the LMS and course content.

The Administrator will evaluate business requirements related to the use and configuration of LMS applications, provide system maintenance including upgrades and updates, configuration, and troubleshooting, and investigate and resolve any data or system inconsistencies or discrepancies.

A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Sciences, Business Administration, or Information Systems is required, along with 3-5 years of LMS experience.
Proficiency in project management systems, particularly Asana, is essential.

Candidates should also possess:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Experience with Adobe Captivate and Articulate.
  • Familiarity with Adult Learning Principles and Instructional Systems Design (ISD), Project Management, Change Management, Document Control, and DMS.
  • A working knowledge of various web design technologies, including HTML.
  • Strong attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofreading materials.
  • Technical skills encompassing troubleshooting and an understanding of directory and file structures.
  • The ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects while setting priorities.
  • The capacity to read and interpret complex business and/or technical documents.
  • Problem-solving skills with a variety of concrete variables through semi-standardized solutions requiring ingenuity and analysis.
  • The ability to draw inferences and follow prescribed and detailed procedures to solve moderately complex problems.
