With a comprehensive array of equipment and a dedicated, skilled offshore team, Precon Marine is equipped to undertake significant bridge, pier, and bulkhead restoration projects, subaqueous utility installations, and provide emergency services for underwater inspections and commercial diving requirements.

Position Summary

The Human Resources Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Human Resources, assisting with various administrative tasks and special projects as assigned for all Precon entities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the recruitment process, ensuring adherence to OFCCP standards and organizational goals. This is a fundamental aspect of the role, requiring the individual to consistently represent the company positively.
  • Conduct follow-ups with all new employees and their supervisors within the first 30 days to ensure a proper fit and alignment with company values.
  • Oversee the employee evaluation process, collaborating with the HR Director to ensure that annual reviews are conducted systematically and provide value to both Precon and its employees.
  • Manage all employment verifications, medical support orders, and employee benefits documentation and enrollments.
  • Assist with various special projects as directed by the HR and Safety Directors.
Additional Duties
  • Provide support in answering the company switchboard as needed.
  • Help coordinate special events as instructed by the President or HR Director.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Progressive knowledge of marine contracting and related fields.
  • Previous experience or training in recruitment, employee benefits, compensation, and workplace safety is advantageous.
  • Exceptional computer proficiency and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal communication abilities; comfort with telephone interactions is essential.
Work Environment

This position is office-based, operating within standard business hours. Professional attire is required.
