Job Summary

Plasser American Corp is seeking a skilled Human Resources Specialist to facilitate daily functions of the HR department, including processing payroll, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.

This role combines benefits and payroll administration, and assisting the Director of Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll in ADP WorkforceNow weekly, ensuring all employee records are maintained and updated with new hire information or changes in employment status.
  • Record employee information, such as exemptions, pay raises, transfers, and resignations, to maintain and update payroll records in ADP workforce.
  • Respond to employees' queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct or acquire background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including compensation, benefits, leave, and personnel files.
  • Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the Director of Human Resources.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least two years of human resources experience or at least 5 years of human resources experience.
  • Proficient knowledge in ADP Workforce Now.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
