Human Resources Specialist

Plasser American Corp is seeking a skilled Human Resources Specialist to facilitate daily functions of the HR department. This role combines benefits and payroll administration, and assisting the Director of Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll in ADP WorkforceNow weekly, ensuring all employee records are maintained and updated.
- Record employee information, such as exemptions, pay raises, transfers, and resignations, to maintain and update payroll records.
- Respond to employees' queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct or acquire background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs.
- Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least two years of human resources experience or at least 5 years of human resources experience.
- Proficient knowledge in ADP Workforce Now.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
