Job Title: Business Development Director

Baesman Group, a leading provider of direct-to-customer marketing strategy and multi-channel execution, is seeking an experienced Business Development Director to drive growth and expansion of our Customer Engagement and Strategy services. Our services include D2C marketing strategy, data analytics, email, SMS, and direct mail execution for mid-size retailers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Acquisition: Identify and secure new business opportunities through strategic prospecting and networking, leveraging market research to identify prospects that fit our ideal customer profile.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain relationships with prospective clients, engaging with C-Suite executives to understand their business needs and challenges.
  • Needs Assessment and Solution Presentation: Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client requirements and pain points, analyzing client feedback and market trends to identify opportunities for business expansion.
  • Solution Presentation and Selling: Develop and deliver compelling presentations that showcase our company's products or services, articulating the unique value proposition and benefits of our offerings.
  • Pursuit Planning and Proposal Coordination: Develop comprehensive pursuit plans for key opportunities, coordinating the preparation and submission of proposals to ensure alignment with client expectations.
  • Negotiation and Closure: Assist in the negotiation process, addressing client concerns and ensuring a win-win outcome, driving opportunities through the sales pipeline to successful closure.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Account Executive/Business Development Leader or in a similar role.
  • Self-starter with creative ways to start and build new relationships.
  • Demonstrated success in securing new clients and meeting revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of business needs and ability to translate them into solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with C-Suite executives.
  • Proven track record of developing pursuit plans and coordinating proposal opportunities.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to close deals successfully.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Business Development experience in a retail agency or related field is a plus.
