Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Process and Metrology Technician to join our team at Kateeva. As a key member of our Print and Process Labs, you will be responsible for the deposition of inkjet printed layers, operation of various tools, and metrology data preparation and analysis.

Responsibilities
  • Process Development: Deposition of inkjet printed layers on bare glass, patterned glass, and customer substrates using Kateeva's own inkjet printers.
  • Tool Operation: Operation of various tools, including PECVD and other vapor deposited layers.
  • Substrate Preparation: Substrate cleaning and preparation, including wet cleaning, inspection, and manual loading/unloading of substrates into cleaning stations.
  • Metrology: Performing metrology on printed substrates, including contact profilometry, white light interferometry, reflectometry, confocal laser microscopy, optical microscopy, and color measurement via radiometry and spectrophotometry.
  • Data Analysis: Metrology data preparation and analysis.
  • Logging and Tracking: Logging and tracking of all processes.
  • Customer Demonstrations: Aid in carrying out customer demonstrations of Kateeva's technologies.
  • Communication: Ability to identify and communicate all details to the team for analysis and process improvement planning.
  • Lab Maintenance: Lab organization, equipment maintenance, and tracking/ordering of supplies.
Requirements
  • Industry Experience: 3-5 years of industry experience as a technician in flat panel, semiconductor, solar, printing, or OLED process development.
  • Education: AA or BS level degree (preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Experience operating vapor deposition tools, spin deposition tools, vacuum tools, handling samples, and/or cleaning samples in R&D line.
  • Metrology Experience: Experience with thin film metrology tools.
  • Soft Skills: Hard-working and current career objectives matched to technician responsibilities, good organization and record keeping, good capability to learn and execute defined procedures and processes carefully and accurately, good at observing and documenting problems/deviations from normal processes, attention to detail, and attention to good safety practices.
