About the Role

Lockheed Martin is a leader in providing Land Training Solutions to customers around the world. Our group is growing, and we are adding to our experienced Business Development team to accelerate opportunities in our pipeline. This position will join the current Land Training BD team and lead assigned opportunities through successful awards with a focus on Middle East customers.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, shape, and execute the strategy necessary to capture opportunities within the land training market.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business development strategies.
  • Provide market analysis and insights to inform business development decisions.
  • Develop and manage proposals, presentations, and other business development materials.

Requirements

  • Experience on new business efforts, including customer engagements, opportunity qualification, proposals, campaigns, and strategy planning.
  • Cross-functional team experience on programs and/or proposals.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • High degree of flexibility and ability to travel worldwide.
  • Knowledge of potential international customers and demonstrated customer relations skills.
  • Ability to understand and interpret international customers' needs and requirements and relate them back to programmatic processes.
  • Awareness of the Department of Defense budgeting and acquisition processes and ability to relate them to the Foreign Military Sales program.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in TLS Products and services areas.
  • Middle Eastern Language Proficiency.
  • Graduate of US Army School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS) or equivalent knowledge of campaign planning and execution.
  • Demonstrated capture expertise.
  • Operational experience and/or knowledge of TESS, CVTESS, Contested Logistics, JLCTCC, WARSIM, DRTS.
  • International business experience.
  • Experience in US FMS Process and/or major Direct Commercial Sales acquisition.
  • Graduate degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent operational experience.
