Role SummaryThe Associate Director, Point of Care is responsible for strategizing and overseeing the Point of Care media initiatives assigned to various clients. This role involves managing the daily operations of the team, cultivating relationships with Point of Care media partners, coordinating project plans, ensuring adherence to the Publicis Health Media planning protocols, building rapport with mid-level clients, mentoring direct reports, and collaborating closely with the Strategy team. Reporting directly to a Director of Point of Care, this position aims to bolster client initiatives within the Point of Care marketplace and sustain Publicis Health Media's partnerships.
Key ResponsibilitiesKnowledge Requirements
- Comprehension of agency operations and workflow.
- Insight into client business objectives and aspirations.
- Ability to translate client goals into effective Point of Care marketplace strategies.
- Familiarity with the Point of Care landscape and partner ecosystem.
- Thorough understanding of partnership opportunities, agreements, and terms.
- Knowledge of agency Terms & Conditions and the contracting process with Point of Care partners.
Daily Duties
- Oversee team management and operations.
- Develop tactical recommendations for Point of Care initiatives.
- Present Point of Care strategies effectively.
- Maintain ownership of business rules and engagement parameters.
- Formulate HCP Target list business rules, prioritizing brand requirements and strategies.
- Craft cross-franchise strategies.
- Prepare and distribute HCP target lists to partners.
- Evaluate and select tactics and offices by brand.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly validations of partner performance.
- Supervise daily execution of tasks within the Point of Care team.
- Ensure timely delivery of team projects and assignments.
- Promote best practices and efficiencies in Point of Care processes.
- Provide updates on the Point of Care marketplace.
- Develop Point of Care Points of View (POVs).
- Manage execution of ad hoc projects as needed.
Relationship Management
- Foster talent development and ensure smooth team operations.
- Manage team assignments effectively.
- Communicate clearly and regularly regarding client and project objectives, priorities, and success metrics.
- Share expertise and knowledge with junior team members.
- Deliver constructive feedback to enhance team performance.
- Establish working relationships with client contacts.
- Lead partnerships with Point of Care media partners.
- Collaborate with internal leadership across various capabilities and teams.
- Continue to build relationships with key Groupe teams.
- Contribute to new business development efforts.
- Demonstrates integrity and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Exhibits strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficient in managing teams and projects.
- Able to navigate ambiguous and challenging situations effectively.
- Familiarity with business intelligence software such as SQL, MicroStrategy, and Datorama, along with data manipulation skills.
- Adheres to agency procedures, including accurate time tracking and performance evaluations.
- Possesses a minimum of 7 years of experience in media planning or buying, specifically in Point of Care, Out of Home, or HCP sectors.
