Overview

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Outcomes Specialist to join our team at UofL Health. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with nursing leaders and staff to ensure compliance with clinical care measures
  • Analyze benchmarking entity mortality and complications data to identify areas for improvement
  • Assist with safety event management, analysis, and investigations
  • Develop and coordinate projects to enhance the Performance Improvement, Peer Review, and Patient Safety Program

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or other healthcare-related master's degree preferred
  • Five (5) years of acute care, hospital-based clinical experience in area of intended practice required
