Clinical Outcomes Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Outcomes Specialist to join our team at UofL Health. As a key member of our quality and safety team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Collaborate with nursing leaders and staff to ensure compliance with clinical care measures
- Analyze benchmarking entity mortality and complications data to identify areas for improvement
- Facilitate the creation of physician-department Performance Improvement Committees
- Present quality, performance improvement, and safety data to stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or other healthcare-related master's degree preferred
- Five (5) years of acute care, hospital-based clinical experience in area of intended practice required
- Previous experience in academic teaching hospital preferred
- Active Kentucky Registered Nurse License or compact license with privileges to work in Kentucky required
