Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Strategic Leadership Consultant to join our team at Valiant Integrated Services. As a Senior Military Analyst, you will provide instruction on Army Leadership doctrine and best practices to support the MTC JBLM Leadership Training and Development Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Instructional Support: Deliver high-quality instruction on Army Leadership doctrine and best practices to Soldiers, Leaders, and Department of the Army Civilians.
  • Develop Training Programs: Create Leadership Training and Development classes and Programs of Instruction that meet the needs of the MTC JBLM Leadership Training and Development Team.
  • Conduct Video Interviews: Conduct video interviews with Army Leaders to discuss Leadership and Mission Command topics.
  • Lead Multimedia Projects: Serve as project lead to design, develop, and produce multimedia products documenting Leadership and Mission Command Lessons Learned.
  • Coordinate with Units: Coordinate directly with units residing at JBLM to analyze Leadership training requirements and develop training solutions that best support Commander's Leader Development Programs.
  • Research Best Practices: Research all aspects of Army and civilian community Leadership and Mission Command best practices and techniques.
  • Maintain Relevancy: Assist in maintaining relevancy and currency of the Leadership Training and Development Team products, services, webpages, and reference library.
Working Conditions

This is an office environment position that may require occasional outdoor work. The work week is Monday-Friday, with occasional overtime and travel as required.

Qualifications
  • Leadership Experience: Successfully served as a Sergeant Major, Command Sergeant Major, Battalion Executive Officer, or Battalion Commander.
  • Training Experience: Experience in training U.S. Army Leaders at platoon through brigade levels.
  • Doctrine Knowledge: Proficient with current U.S. Army Doctrine: Unified Land Operations, Mission Command, Training Units and Developing Leaders, and Army Leadership.
  • Facilitation Skills: Experienced and able to lead group discussions and facilitate Socratic-style learning.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint software programs.
  • Education: Completed U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, Sergeants Major Academy, or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Operations Experience: Operations assignment at brigade or above desired.
  • Course Completion: Completion of U.S. Army Battle Staff Course desired.
