Job Overview:

As a Military Analyst 2, you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the diverse training support capabilities of the MTC. Your role will involve:

  • Providing assistance as directed by the Training Event Lead.
  • Coordinating and supervising the MTC's support for training events at the brigade level and below.
  • Leading a team of up to 10 contractors from various disciplines to ensure effective training support when assigned as lead.
  • Planning and coordinating events utilizing the Live, Virtual, Constructive Integrating Architecture (LVC-IA) alongside its core systems and Mission Command Information Systems.
  • Preparing and delivering briefings and demonstrations related to computer simulation models and exercise topics.
  • Developing recovery plans for mission command and simulation workstations during training events.
  • Instructing and coaching brigade and battalion staff on the operational use and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) of Mission Command Information Systems.
  • Creating After Action Review (AAR) Plans for the exercise audience, detailing data collection, analysis parameters, presentations, and the final AAR report.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • Completion of the Army Command and General Staff College (CGSC) or Intermediate Level Education is desired.
  • Experience with gaming and constructive simulation programs is advantageous.
  • Exceptional organizational, research, writing, and communication skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
  • The position necessitates close interaction with clients and the ability to work independently and creatively.
  • Successful candidates will demonstrate effective communication skills with clients, colleagues, and senior government officials.
  • A Secret Clearance is mandatory.
